Long considered the best recorded performance by the Tommy Bolin Band Mark I. Using the best quality audio we could find, this recording has been digitally remastered by John Herdt for our Collector’s Series. Thanks go out to Sal Serio, Chris Hofer and John Ficalora for their help in finding the source audio. The technical quality of the recording is crisp and clear. Not even two weeks after their triumphant May 1976 Ebbets Field performances, Tommy and crew arrived at My Father’s Place, in Roslyn Long Island. This live set offers an interesting glimpse at how far these songs grew in so short a time. Songs include Teaser, People, People, The Grind, Keyboard Solo, Wild Dogs, Band Introduction, Delightful, I Fell In Love, Marching Powder and Lotus.

TOMMY BOLIN: 1997 TRIBUTE CONCERT
READ REVIEW
The 1997 Tribute Concert featuring Glenn Hughes, Johnnie Bolin and the great Tribute Band was truly amazing. It was a great night of passionate Tommy Bolin music that was as valid as any classic rock presentation. Moments of extreme tenderness are contrasted with the high energy output. The performance, at The Bluebird Theater in Denver, on a hot Friday night in August will prove difficult to top. Songs include Teaser, Shake the Devil, You Told Me That You Loved Me, Gypsy Soul, Alexis, Coast to Coast, Gettin’ Tighter, You Keep On Movin’, Dreamer, Your Love is Alright.

THE TOMMY BOLIN BAND: LIVE AT EBBETS FIELD MAY 13, 1976
READ REVIEW
This recording is taken from the master radio broadcast tape from one of the first performances of The Tommy Bolin Band. This historic first lineup of Tommy’s solo band put on a high energy, unique live performance that not only showcased Tommy, but also Narada Michael Walden on drums and vocals, and original Vanilla Fudge keyboardist and vocalist Mark Stein. The band also included Norma Jean Bell on sax and vocals, and Reggie McBride on bass. Songs include Teaser, People People, The Grind, Wild Dogs, Delightful, I Fell In Love, Marching Powder, Lotus, and Homeward Strut.

TOMMY BOLIN AND FRIENDS: LIVE AT EBBETS FIELD 1974
ALTERNATE TAKES

READ REVIEW
This disk presents material left over from the performances that made up Ebbets Field 1974, but these outtakes are still worthwhile. Tommy never played a song the same way twice.

BOLIN/MOUZON FUSION JAM
READ REVIEW
A must-have for fans of Alphonse Mouzon's 1975 album Mind Transplant. These rehearsals blaze through some early drafts of “Homeward Strut,” some slow blues, the swing of “No More Crying,” and as what would grow to be Deep Purple's “Love Child.” The highlight is “The Real Thing,” sonically upgraded, a candid photo of Tommy at his improvisational best.

DAYS MAY COME: THE CALIFORNIA REHEARSALS PART 1
READ REVIEW
English Import, with special booklet. Deep Purple Mark IV, featuring Tommy Bolin on guitar, had strong acceptance for their studio work on Come Taste the Band, but suffered bad reviews for some live shows, most notably for the slapdash Last Concert in Japan. This CD documents the first live rehearsals of the band with Tommy, and they breathe fire.

DEEP PURPLE: THIS TIME AROUND - LIVE IN TOKYO (2 CDs)
READ REVIEW
For some twenty years, the album Last Concert In Japan served as the final gasp of Deep Purple Mark IV, the final 1970’s incarnation of that classic band. That album was poorly mixed and did not present the songs that this lineup performed best live. This Time Around includes many strong performance of songs from Come Taste the Band left off of LCIJ, and presents vastly superior audio production.
