THE BOLIN FOUNDATION
The Bolin Foundation was founded by Johnnie Bolin, Tommy’s brother. The Bolin Foundation’s mission is to preserve the musical legacy of Tommy and his family through raising funds for school music programs and scholarships for individuals who intend to study music. This site has lots of great biographical material, photos of Tommy, a fan forum, and more.

The site was created by Linda Emrich, who is a Director at The Bolin Foundation, and has worked in a variety of capacities for artists such as ex-Jimi Hendrix vocalist/drummer Buddy Miles and Johnnie Bolin. Bobby played drums with Tommy in Zephyr, Energy, the famous Glen Holly jams, and on some of Tommy’s greatest hits. Bobby’s pages on the Rampant Zone site have pics and audio of his days with Tommy.

Russell Bizzett played drums on dates and sessions with Tommy from 1974-76. He was a featured drummer on Tommy Bolin & Friends: Live at Ebbets Field 1974.

Tommy played on his classic jazz/rock fusion LP Mind Transplant.
JRZ SYSTEM
An Instrumental Funk/Rock/Fusion trio who perform Tommy’s music in concert. The group performed a remake of Mind Transplant on their self-titled first album. Greenhouse Effect, their 1999 CD, featured a version of Savannah Woman with Johnnie Bolin on drums. They plan to perform Stratus for their next album.
